Cochrane Toyota by Calgary can get Pelfreybilt products to Canada at reasonable prices...

Not Canadian product, I know, but they can save you a few bucks if you like anything of theirs.

Not Canadian made - but Canadian based

I ordered my bars and tonneau through PartsEngine.ca

Not sure about delivery times to BC - as they're local to Toronto. But I got my stuff in 2 business days

I used them just recently for some Bushwacker fender flares. Delivery took about a week from Ontario to BC, but they also have a BC warehouse and it really just depends on which warehouse they have the item in stock.

On a side note I changed my mind on the fender flares and luckily they will allow me to return them to the BC warehouse instead of shipping them all the way back to Ontario! I'll probably post them up for sale in the forums for what I paid minus $60 and see if anyone wants them since that will be my cost to send them back to the warehouse.

Yeah they come black... Was going to colour match but decided I'd stick with my stock flares. They are the pocket style.

I bought my AAL and 30' recovery strap. Only $22 to ship to Ontario. They have a deal on now on a strap/shackle combo.

Not feelin' the Canadian bro love with this guy.

He is Canadian, but his prices are USD or not sure on some. He offers free shipping to his US customers, but not to Canada.

He can give a free tow hook away with a skid plate, but charges full price for a tow hook alone. o_O

I'm thinking that besides what he actually fabricates and takes across the border to ship, he's a third party seller for a US distribution house for the rest.

I believe he was once a vendor here, but he's not in the list now. You can not reach him through PM's. He only answers emails, and he's vague in his answers to Canadian customers.

He also bought a Homertaco grill and copied them and now sells them on his site , ask Craig how much he likes that guy

is our post office so bad that free shipping is so hard in Canada. Love to know how that seems to be standard operating procedure in the US. Perhaps our country is simply too big and vacant but somehow i think the effort is lacking.
That said I have had terrific service from several Canadian suppliers. that beat the pants off of stateside online stores. Had to re[lace my taco mirrors and primechoiceautopartsoutlet stepped up with free shipping. Highly recommend them.

Many, many years ago i use to travel to the Arizona and Baja sand every winter with my 84 Hilux and Honda buggy in tow. Anyways a lift in order to stuff larger tires on my truck was at the top of my to do the list. The cost on these were out of my range when pricing in Canada, though every one in California had nice lift. I finally called North Shore Off Road when a friend told me the price on their 4 inch Trail Master for half the price everyone else was selling for. So I asked them how this was possible and they told me that Standins Spring in Calgary and other Canadian companies were the actual spring suppliers for many of the mainstream US suspension companies. When most Canadian off road shops ordered a suspension lift for you it had crossed the border twice, even if you lived in Calgary. NSOR had simply been able to catch these lifts before they were exported and re-imported prior to sale to me. They only needed to bring in the shocks.
Funny how things work or maybe not.....................

I like the skid and tow hook but didn't order as there were a few things I noticed similar to your observations.

I can somewhat relate on the shipping charges. Oddly on the kits I sell it costs me noticeably more to fill and ship a Canadian order then a US order... I won't bore you with the details but basically the shipping is more here and I also need to import a bunch of mirrors from the US.

That being said there was no way in hell I was going to charge Canadians more for the product... Been on the short end of that stick enough times to know it's not cool :canada:

Had not heard that before, very low to buy someone's product to just copy and sell it. I remember a few months back there was a guy who bought one of the weld your own front armour kit from one of the major suppliers on here (forget which supplier).

Anyhow I guess the guy had a CNC machine and came on here trying to sell an exact copy of the DIY kit he had bought. Didn't take more than an hour or so and he was banned.

Ya, I heard about that too. Thanks for bringing that up, OZ.

... and I think he was also using the TRD logo without permission on his skid plates. Toyota had a word with him, I think. :smack:

It's not that hard to make one of those tow hooks. I am definitely not paying $130 plus $20 shipping. That's just robbery, when he's already giving them away to our American bros. There is a fab shop nearby that's reasonable, so I'm gonna look into it.

Anyway, let's not turn this into a bash thread. We know what kind of business model he follows, and that speaks for itself.

    There are these guys too:
