9mm is 380 magnum. I have a 380 and its a plinker. I have a HK45 as my go to. The only reason I have it is to fit under a suit jacket

I've always like 45s, only time I ever shoot 9mm was for work. My old edc was a Glock 30SF and most of my other handguns were 45s.

With modern +P jhp's I think 9, 40, and 45 are all good to go. I have them all and don't feel lacking when carrying a 9. Hell the j frame 38 is infinitely better than nothing at all.

That being said I feel I shoot best with an XD-9 tactical. First carry choice is Shield 9, then G23. Tactical and 1911 are ok if open carrying

Yeah I got the G23 back in about 1999/2000. It was pretty popular then as a compromise between the capacity of the 9 and the power of the .45...

It would be fun to shoot the G19 back to back with the 23 to feel the difference

They're "ok" lights. I had them on my '09 and never had any problems. Just add soke extra silicon to the seam and you should be fine.

You may be able to salvage some money an sell the broken ones? I'm sure someone would pay 50$ or so

No you would need another set anyway cause the only way to get them off is cut them with a dremol or something like that.
