Did you lose a settler and find out their possesions included " synth parts "

 

I went on a rampage at Sanctuary the other day because Marcy Long was being her usual bitch self so I launched a mini nuke at her just to see what would happen. Don't do it. I quicksaved before. But your original 5 settlers are invincible and will wreck you. The funny thing is Preston was my companion and was fighting on my side against his friends.

 

Just before the synths reached the perimeter of my settlement (before I even knew they were attacking), one my settlers started attacking me. Everyone came to my defense and when I got over the confusion I shot him in the face. Immediately after everyone ran out front to take on the synths. I don't recall what was in his inventory when I looted though.

 

I walled all my settlers in so they can't escape. If my settlement is attacked, they are safe, the enemy just sits outside the wall waiting for me to come or die from turrets. It's more fun that way. I fast travel to my levitating house and snipe all enemies, and it's over. The only way my settlers can get out or I can get in are if I enter workshop and delete a wall. This keeps them from using my shit to defend themselves, or die.

 

Yeah , one of your settlers was a synth infiltrator

 

I don't have enough building materials yet to wall all of my settlements yet

 

If you side with the institute, does that stop?

 

I just wall them in haha. I leave them in the area behind my garage with all the crops and scrap tables.

 

If you check all your settlers' inventory I bet you can find out if any are synths

Yep! haha There is a brahmin pen inside of their pen. It bothers me that NPC's can open gates. What is the point of installing a huge gate on my bridge and walling the place in if raiders can open it? Half of my settlers leave the damn gate open.

 

The dog opening doors I don't wanna open yet is worse

 

I've been bringing Cait along instead of dogmeat lately. She's pretty useful since I have no lock picking perks and she can pick expert. I gave her an SMG and have been wearing power armor lately. I have so many fusion cores that I can never run out so I decided to wear it everywhere and just cause havoc.

Load screen empty too, i toggled the autosave options off then on again and now it seems to be working

 

It's so hard to find health in fall out 3, also is new Vegas fun?

 

What? Fallout 3 literally had stimpacks falling out of the vendors pockets. If you got the perk early that let's you get good shop prices, which is way more effective than it is in Fallout 4, you could trade a couple of common guns for literally a dozen stimpacks.

New Vegas is basically Fall Out 3 with more good missions and a few minor addons like being able to pack your own ammo.

 

Aren't you a carpenter in real life? You remind me of a buddy who used to love Need for Speed Underground and other garage oriented driving games way back in the day even though he basically worked on cars all day at his dads shop. Don't you do enough "crafting" at work?

 

I've never bought a stimpak and have 150. I find them everywhere.

 

That is why it is fun. Most people who enjoy building in real life like that part of the game because it is awesome!
