On the drive to work this morning, I got 21.6 MPG. It was 98% Freeway. Mostly at freeway speeds. A little braking down to 50-55 or so but was still moving. On the way home, I got 18.7 MPG. That is 85% Freeway and 15% major streets. So far I'm happy with the MPG's. I imagine as it breaks in, it will get slightly better than this. As long as I can get 400 miles out of a tank, I'm golden.

This. My Yaris got 30-35 mpg but only had a 10.6 gallon tank. The extra gas I burn is offset by not visiting a gas station every 270 miles.

One thing I've noticed is that the average MPG reported in the entune app does not appear to be a long term running average from the last time you hit clear. I don't know if it throws away history based on time or mileage, but the math isn't adding up compared to my tank avg mpg readings.

I think I read that it is the average from the last 15 miles, or something like that, not the entire tank....I'll have to go look that up when I get some time.

in the first 250 miles I am getting a steady 17.5. This is mixed town and interstate (California interstates, so it might as well be town...)

I've been as high as 20.8 though. TRD OR 6 Spd manual w/ DCSB

TRD OR 4x4 DCSB AT --only about 200 miles so far (70% hwy) averaging mid 18's... tried to stay at 65mph for about half of my hwy miles to get the fuel economy up a bit more. Not as good as I had hoped it would be thus far and I don't expect to see any significant improvement due to break-in or whatever else folks like to bet on.

Terrain in AZ is about as favorable as you can get, nice flat and straight roads here in the Valley. Temps in the mid 70s. Field Elev roughly 1200-1500 MSL

SR 4 cyl., 4wd, AC, 5 speed: Still breaking in and driving smoothly 24.2 on first check. Mostly less than 60 mph. Mostly rural hwy. Less than 300 mi. on truck. I loaded the engine on and off to seat the rings after about 30 miles on the odo. At 130 mi. I quit doing this and drove easy to check the mpg. Happy with the 4 cyl. Plenty of power. Very smooth.

No joking I drive my truck like gramp rivers. I have people beeping at me to move. I'm just trying to hit 300 miles to a tank. Then I will drive it normal and see what I get.

Just ticked 1900 miles. Pushed it til the Distance til Empty showed REFUEL NOW and eeked out almost 400 miles on the tank. Got 18.695 gallons to the first click with Ultra-Gauge showing 18.6 gallons used and that I had 50 miles til empty. 70% was highway driving to/from the coast @60MPH, rest was daily commute. Average going to the coast (~116 miles each way) was 22.4 on the MID and 23.5 on Ultra-Gauge. Coming back was 22.7 and 23.3. Not sure how I managed to have one go up and the other go down. Overall mileage below

    Multi-Information Display
    384.9 Miles
    20.6 MPG

    Ultra-Gauge
    392.9 Miles
    21.1MPG

Hand Calculated (Adjusted for Odometer Difference ~2%)
    21.0MPG

Enjoy the big tires and lift.
Are you correcting your odometer readings due to larger tires or just don't give a shit?

Glad to see that I'm not the only one getting crappy mileage. :)
15.6 on my first tank, 16.7 right now on the second. And I'm actually trying to keep the number up.
It's not a big deal to me (my previous DD was an E-350 that got 13mpg) but I did think it would be better. Maybe it will improve as the truck gets some more miles on it. TRDORDCSB 4x4

How fast do you drive on the highway? What model do you have? How fast to you accelerate from stops? How close do you drive from the vehicle in front on you?

Added model info above. I've been driving very moderately, not hard on the gas at all. 70 or so on the highway.
    I'm not drafting. :)

Keeping your foot out of it when accelerating around town really helps the fuel mileage I am finding.
