Just to further the conversation and my knowledge..... what's the up and down side then for 17" vs 16" on the street ?

 

I just picked you a set from them for $150 and had a 5% off code. The regular Toyota of Dallas parts site has them for $150 there TRD site has them for $170.

 

Yes they do. This is a 2010 taco. 5100s all around rear 1.5 aal front shocks set at 1.75 wheelers offroad package...

 

On street, the larger diameter wheels/lower profile tires (17s in this case) will provide better cornering due to less sidewall flex. The ride will be a little more rough in return since there is less cushion from the tires. The 16s will be vice versa.

If an inch will make that big of a difference...I know, that's what she said.

I understand that the TRD Pro wheel will fit the Tacoma (Both 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen), but my original question was in regards to the Black Special Team Edition Rims from the FJ Cruiser (Pictured in original post). I.E. Offsets/Etc. I am pretty sure it will fit and same lug pattern, just wanted to confirm with someone on here.

Also, 2nd question referenced opinions to help my decision making process of which rim for my New 3rd Gen in MGM?

17,s r not that bad u know. I actually saw that first pic with the mud terrain and i loved the look. Good luck in ur decision.

 

Is there a price difference between a 16 and a 17? Sometimes sizes have dramatic price differences, just sayn. If soo you will see how much more or less you will pay whenever you need tires.
