    Helped!

Honestly, that is exactly what your vehicle/abs is supposed to do. That rattling that occurs is just your ABS pump releasing pressure to the presumably "locked" wheels, allowing them to brake more evenly with those that the ABS computer thinks isn't "locked".Personally, I think your ABS system is working perfectly!!!!

Only way to really prevent this from happening is NOT to brake while your turned. You shouldn't be going so fast that you need to be pressing the brakes while turning. I know, it sounds annoying, but slow down first and coast into your turn!

The abs on my truck is disabled, however. Mainly because I don't want this to happen ever. Especially when I'm off roading.

I think there is more info and knowledge on here then a lot of toyota techs could offer.

Ya for guys talking to guys maybe but let a woman reach out for help and that guy says my abs is working fine! No it's not even the dealership says it's not but they want me to spend $1,800 "just for parts" plus labor to try and fix it

lol are you really crying misogyny? please leave the site and don't return. ive been an automotive specialist for nearly 10 years now. and unless you're willing to be patient and provide further information for us to give advice on and help with, you don't belong here.

here's my ultimate advice for you. disable the ABS. it's nothing but a problem anyways.
