I've bought a Tru-Cool 4454 tranny cooler for my 4 banger to help when I tow our popup camper. I've searched extensively thru the TW forums and can't find any pictures of the location of the stock cooler lines at the radiator on the newer (mine is a '13 Prerunner) 2nd generation tacos. I'm thinking the rubber hoses in the pic below are them. They are on the right side of the radiator as you face it from the front. The top one gets hotter than the bottom one so that should be the inlet. I'd sure appreciate it if anyone could confirm for me that they are the cooler lines. You can just barely see the hose clamp on the bottom one just to the right of the AC line. Thanks all!!image.jpg

the transmission lines should be connecting to the bottom of the radiator.

    Reserected from the dead.
Yes, those are the lines. Release the clamps, but don't remove the hoses entirely, just wiggle them enough to get them to seep some fluid. You can be sure they are the right hoses by the color of the fluid. Should be oily and red.

I hope your not going to mount the cooler using those push thru plastic ties. I think after market coolers are ok but the lines usually start leaking soon and cause more trouble than there worth so invest in good hose and clamps and mounting.

Those are the transmission lines for the 4 cyl. Using a borrowed infrared temp gauage, the top one was the hotter of the two
