3rd Gen Magnetic Gray Thread

Great choice. My Magnetic Grey has been perfect with just over 200KM on it. I like how it handles around town and on the highway.

 

Any Recommendations on color choice for rims with the MGM?



Black or Silver with MGM?

 

I would love to see what the gray looks like on an MGM, I played it safe and went with the black (arrived today).

Id say black. Here's how it looks on mine.

 

Looks good. Just can't see outlines from a distance.

After many months of waiting, I finally received my MGM DCLB TRD Sport 4x4. It has been worth the wait!

Where'd you pick up those rims? I need a set.

 

Those are steel rims from the dealer with my winter tires on them. Nothing special. Usig the cheap steel rims saves the summer rims from salt and sand corrosion.

 

Are those the same as the spare? I want to get a set of those on. Are they the 16's? Thanks for the help...Oh yeah, what did the charge you?

 

They are 16's. I wanted the narrower tread for snow tires. No, my spare is a 17" tire and wheel, the same as my summer tires that came with the truck. The winter tires were part of my trade in along with rust proofing so no dollar amount was quoted on the bill of sale other than a value of $1,800 for the very tired 4Runner I had. I can phone the dealer in the morning and get his value for the rims. Price would be in $CDN.

 

Oh, 17" spare? The sport comes with 17's? I have the Offroad and mine came with 16's. Don't worry about calling the dealer, I'll ask mine when I take it in for its service. I like the plane jane utilitarian look. If I get a set I just want to find a center cap to cover the hubs, something like the FJ's have.
