So my 1st gen is stock and leans to the front a little. I'm getting a level kit and need to decide between 2 , 2 and a half , or 3 to make it level or make it have Cali lean just a tad but not too much to where it looks good. On 31 BF goodies thanks

2 inch lift. LED fog lights (Cali fab) Alpine head unit. Kicker door speakers. Skar subwoofer.
6 inch fabtech with a 3 inch body.. on 40 inch boggers! haha
I had a 2 inch on mine and hated it, to small and couldn't really fit any bigger of a tire. I went with a 4 inch and put 33s on mine and love it.

Spend a couple evenings reading in the suspension forum.

    Determine a budget.

Define exactly how you want to use the truck 75-80% of the time. Don't design for the exception, design for the main function.

Why a 'leveling kit'? Is that a functional requirement or a looks requirement?

More for looks I don't do any muddying or trails. Think I've decided on a 2.5

    I'd go 5100 adjustables, not a spacer.
