Days off, but wide awake in the middle of the night of course. :)

When I look back over the last 31 yrs, I realize I've spent a crap load of time waiting on planes to arrive and depart. ;)

    Howdy, team.

Back on the night shift starting Tuesday. Trying to work myself into staying up later each night. Not doing so well. Not even 9pm and the body wants to head for the rack.

Wife and I are doing some on line shopping, so that helps a bit. Of v course I'm getting static for playing on my phone. Oops.

    KO

    Out.

    Howdy night shift peeps.

Back on the night shift for what looks like the entire month. With other team members taking vacations at the end of the year, I'll get hit with some OT. It looks like I will be working full on the last week of the year as well as new years day.

In actual honesty, I don't really miss not having the holiday off. Our families are so spread out, seeing them on the actual holiday is about impossible. The extra money they throw at me for working those days is kinda nice too.

The city finally took down a hazard tree. This was a huge Elm that the Dutch Elm Disease took out. It was amazing. In less than 2 years the tree went from perfectly healthy to totally dead. We are gonna miss its shade that it gave us during the summer. I'm not gonna miss the clogged gutters from the nasty leaves it dropped every year.

    Hey Kirk.

I know the feeling ... with our grandkids moved to Phoenix now, I'm finding my Christmas spirit lacking this year. I've been thinking I should put up the outside Christmas lights, but my motivation is seriously lacking with the little ones not around this year. :notsure:

That was a huge tree ... did they take the stump out too?
