I'll be back in SC then, but yeah I'll probably end up going to the game and then back to school from there

Wish I could make it to the peach bowl. Don't think I'll be able to swing it with work and all now.

    I hate being an adult...

I had a room booked in Jacksonville to see Richt's last game but I'm going to cancel it now since he will not be there.

Kirby will try juggling both jobs until Bama's season ends. He'll be in Athens the next 10 days then head back to t-town. Already started visiting with our recruits.

He is flying out to Washington to meet with Eason tomorrow apparently. From what I've read he is hitting the ground running on recruiting.

That's why I'm in the process of going back to school. Take my GMAT this week.

So 3 5-7 teams are going bowling this season. There was only 77 teams 6-6 or above. Compare that to 4 under .500 teams went bowling from 01-14.

Apparently the 3 teams were decided by their academic progress rankings for 13-14 (most recent scores).

Thought that was pretty cool, reward teams in an uncommon situation for academics success.

That's what I was hoping he was going to do. He's already talked to Eason, supposedly. Went to Toccoa to visit Ben Cleveland today (5* OL that's already signed his financial aid papers)

Yea I think the "rule" is you can take the top 5 academically ranked teams, if you need up to 5 extra teams to bowl. Something like that.

Glad Alabama gets Mich State in the first round. I don't know how well we match up against OU or Clemson. We'll have to play one eventually if we want to win it all, though.

Hopefully the Mich State game will go the same way it did the last time we played them.......

Are you saying you'd rather play Alabama than Mich State assuming you get past Clemson? No offense to Sparty, but I'd rather face them than anybody else in the playoffs. (Not saying OU can't beat Alabama... they can, and they have recently... just that I'd like my odds against MSU more.)

Well what do you know?... I'm getting an MBA, too! I didn't "go back," though. I'm getting mine through distance ed, so no fun college parties for me.

I didn't need to re-take the GMAT this time b/c I have a "work experience waiver," but I did anyway b/c a high enough score would qualify me for a pretty substantial scholarship. That test sucked a lot more than I remember! I didn't do as well as I did back when I got my first masters in 2004. BUT... Luckily I was able to get this school to consider the 710 I got back then and I got the scholarship anyway.

I'm 3 classes from finished with (almost certainly) the last degree I'll ever get.
