I purchased my 2012 Tacoma Double Cab Long Bed on November 25 2015 and I am not looking back. The truck came with 15,119 miles on it. I bought it from Jack Safro Toyota in Brookfield WI. I have all the service records from the dealer for the truck.

The previous owner install the following mods right out of the gate.
    1.Front Skid Plate
    2.Hood Protector
    3.Door Sill Protector
    4.TRD Exhaust
    5.TRD Supercharger and Fit Kit
    6.Roof Rack
    7.Bedmat

Then installed a Fiberglass bed cover at 3,000 miles. It also has 18" wheels, which I dont like. Stock tire size is a 265/60R18. I will be looking for some 16" wheels down the road.

I have decided to do a build thread because I regret not doing one for my car. I don't have any big plans for a build but it will be nice to track my progress.

First off a few pictures of my last build. 2013 Honda Civic si. Bought it new and traded it with 30,000 Miles on it. Traded for the Taco.

And now on to what we are here for. A few pictures of the Tacoma when it was at the dealer.

I installed some LED interior and license plate lights last night. I buy all my automotive LED lighting from DiodeDynamics. Their products have done nothing but exceed my expectations. I had their products on my car and now also on my truck. I installed the HP5 bulbs for the map lights and their HP3 bulbs for license plate bulbs. The map lights are stupid bright and will leave you seeing spots if you look directly at them. Also bought their 31mm SMF6 for the dome light.

I did notice that I am missing my left front mud flap so I will be getting a front set soon. I also noticed how long the passenger side front mud flap is. It almost touches the damn ground. I saw a thread on trimming the mud flaps and I am assuming that is what that thread is for so I will check that out later. Here are a few more crappy pics from my garage.

Yes, my two year old son got a Recaro before I did. He loves the truck and likes riding in it. My wife is also happy with my trade. She couldnt drive a 6 speed and the exhaust was to loud for her liking. So we are all happy with the truck and are also expecting another baby this June. I still would like a fast car and I do plan on getting a project car down the line to build up. This will probably be a slow build but could turn into more than what I am expecting. Thanks for reading and stay tuned.

Forgot to mention the JBL audio upgrade and Navigation.

Also need to do the rear diff breather mod soon. I dont plan on going through any rivers but I want to be ok if that time comes.

I also love that car. It was fun and handled like a dream. I am trying to sell my Enkei RPF1'S so I can buy some wheels for the truck.

I bought and installed some Weathertech floor liners. I installed them on Friday. WAY better coverage over the factory all weather mats. I got the front two and also the rear over the hump. Its a great investment to help protect my investment (truck). Now I need to find some nice seat covers!

I also have an appointment set up to get my front windows tinted on Thursday. It is my birthday and I have vacation to burn before the end of the year so I figure why not take the day off and get myself a birthday present. Window Tint! I plan to get 20% on the front windows.
