Called weathertech to check on mats today. The salesman said "2016 Ooooo... I don't think I have anything for those yet. That is a whole new redesign.....Oh wait. Yes I do......They wern't there yesterday." Things were going great till I told him manual transmission (on an access cab). Nothing for those yet.

I'm guessing they are going to make a different set of floor mats for the manual transmission trucks? Or are you going to have to do a little trimming on the automatic floor mats?

Not sure that's what I'm wondering too. I believe there was on the 2nd gens cause I've heard of people having to trim them. But im sure about the 2nd gens. Only way is for someone to take a nice detailed few pics of their floor and firewall in their automatic and I'll get a few of my standard and compare the two!

The dead pedal is smaller on the manual trans truck. Husky sent me floor mats and said they would fit my manual, but they dont.

I have always used weather tech floor liners (6+ vehicles) but somewhere around 2012 their quality went down hill. The set I have for my 2013 F350 are flimsy, curl at the edges and slide around (passenger side). For these reasons, and availability, I went with the Husky liners and couldn't be happier. They are definitely more sturdy, fit better and the nubs on the bottom are stout enough that these things aint moving.

I'd seriously try the Husky if you are in the market

Ive got husky weather beaters in mine and love the looks and fit of them. I was originally going to get weathertech liners but they drug around making them and husky had them available first. So weathertech the old saying if you snooze you lose. I also want mud flaps from husky or weathertec but whoever produces them first gets my business.

I took your word for it and just ordered a front set. This is the last day of 10% off.

I was going to hold out for the Husky, X-act Contour but the Weather Beaters look like I can just take a paper towel and sop the water up when I get out of it so the water don't condense during the day.
