    Decided to wait on lift, and probably go with the toytec boss system down the road when more funds are available.

    If I wanted to lift my truck 3' with these 5100's I would just need to adjust the front ones and get block spacers or AAL in the rear correct?

    Lack of it, apparently.

    They're 2.5" lift capable. For 3" of lift like he asked, he would need to add spacers or get a lift coil. The 5100s themselves will not provide 3" of lift.

    Please know what you're selling a little better so someone doesn't buy something that doesn't work for them because you said it would. Your responsibility is to represent your item accurately. There's is to make sure they know what they are looking at and what they need.

    Nobody should buy an item and be told by a seller that knows better (or should know better) that it will work when it doesn't.

    Buyers do your homework. Sellers do your homework or atleast be honest, if you don't know an answer then say you don't know an answer.

    Posting doesn't show pics of actual items anyway, just boxes, which isn't allowed.

    You win, I haven't completely figured this all out. I was told by another person they used these shocks @ maxed setting and it worked to fit 285s w/o rubbing which he assumed to be approximately 3". I was also told by toytec they've used these w/ coils and spacers and got only an 1" out of them over stock on the 16s. So from what I can tell results are very individual although the average is more constant w/ your response depending on year. Full disclosure, I've owned a tacoma for less than a week and only things I know are from this forum which we all know is not a credible source at times. So as stated, be sure you do your research before purchase.

    @ottoperformance

    You have way too threads listing these for sale across multiple marketplace forums and a local forum as well. You're allowed ONE thread for items to be sold, in the marketplace, in whatever sales subsection is the best fit for the items being listed, and you have to show the actual items - not the boxes they're inside.

    Read the rules, please.
