just elbow grease. use a screwdriver or the like to help get the eyelet lined up, vice grips and or pry bar to open the mounts up if needed.

Not trying to be a buzzkill! I went up last year in winter and the fs closed the road at the split and were only letting 4x4 tow trucks up to pull out the 3 or 4 trucks that slid off the road because of the snow/mud.

Just don't wanna see anybody here slide off the side or run into closed roads ruining the trip

I'm down for a camping trip. Got pretty much all my stuff. Stull need to get a lantern and water containers. Other than that, I am set. Going lighter on the camping gear this time around. I had too much stuff before. Some of it I never used it.

Well of course I agree safety is first, but my point was we will find out as we go. If anyone felt the road was too dangerous I would hope they would speak up vs doing something they are uncomfortable doing.

Yeah so I'm just gonna take it to a shop or wait for a mod day or something. Didn't wanna bend out the mounts too much and fracture it. Short of shaving the bushings a bit on the shocks, there was no way it was squeezing in there what with all the hammering I already did.

Was going to but I only had 2 hours to knock both sides out. Maybe on my next days off. What do you think about shaving the bushings a little bit though so it slides in easier?

Looking for a new tattoo artist. Tried reaching out to mine, but he moved. Please don't just give me a shop name, looking for your artist that you would vouch for. Central/North valley preferred, but if they are good, I will travel.

I did that as well but didn't want to over bend them and fracture or break 'em tabs then I would've been really stuck. Just paranoid I guess. Crazy that after putting coilovers and AALs in by myself, this is stumping me.

It's already into the shock mount, why would you need to pry/shave.

Lube can help the movement, but it just needs to be pryed up and in until the bolt can go in. A Line-Up Pry Bar (or screwdriver, or punch) can be used to align/pry thru the holes.
