any info would be cool...the firearm itself is a .38

the frame, grip, and trigger guard all have matching 6 digit serial #s

stamp says mfg date Jan. 1975 so not TOO old...but still cool nonetheless

also got a pretty cool quick draw style shoulder holster that holds the gun under your left armpit...has a spring action type holster that allows the gun to be yanked out instead of drawn if need be

its in great shape considering its been hanging out in the holster for at LEAST the past 27 years

the cylinder still spins and can easily be removed

this was obviously prior to the flip open cylinders of today...this one actually comes off the gun

ive noticed its VERY heavy...but i suppose that reduces recoil...

i also dont like the plastic grips...but...theyre original supposedly...so...they'll stay

Actually, Double action revolvers have the flip open cylinder, while the Single actions have an "Flap" that opens on the right hand side, allowing the pistol to be loaded/amptied from it.

ok so this is a single action pistol

but apparently not the army one because the serial number doesnt end in SA

its 6 digits and begins with 38 though

Yeah..Its a single action... Best thing to do, is find an online source in which you can send the serial number to and have them give info...Better yet, send an E-mail to the manufacture....
