    Yea I'm cutting back this year also. I only have about 30 thousand up this year. I'm going to put up less next year too. Trying o blend back into society. When I was at my peak it was 220k and over 600 channels of control.

    I ran three colors of red clear and green and controlled them all with a computer.

    Yeah that's the main thing people don't pay attention to when making sliders. I've seen that over and over. Only thing you can do it reweld them on the mounting plates, shim it (which will take some strength away) or fold over/grind down the pinch weld
    Fuck that antenna. It supposedly comes off but I couldn't get it out of my fender either. I ended up using my stubby antenna and putting it on the end of the cable then I ziptied it to my intake box in the fender well. You can't see it and my radio still works great

    According to this, if I shim the rear axle 0.5 degree, all the driveshaft accelerations will drop to under 20. They were originally all over 200 after putting on the lift. Since I really only notice the take-off (5mph) shake, don't know if it's worth the hassle to add shims to leaf packs now.

    Those are just a couple from previous years. I store them in totes that I put in my crawl space it's 6' high. I have about 40 of those large Rubbermaid totes.

    Higher acceleration on ujoints = more likely to feel vibrations.

    Is this simple? I don't understand what the parameters of the diagram are. Whatever tha fuck "side angle" means, those numbers are not even close to accurate to the scale drawing and in no way would provide you with a good driveshaft angle. Possibly understanding the terminology would help as what I'm perceiving this diagram to state would not work in real life

    Only a couple hundred over normal use since they are not all on at the same time most of the time. When all on I pull about 120 amps.

    Side angle just means as measured in a side view. There are other fields to enter top view angles to calculate true compound angle. Angles at top are my measurements for flange, shaft, etc. Angles under picture are the calculated relative angles for ujoints. Image isn't to scale.

    Ok. Perfect driveshaft angle should essentially be the same angle between the two halves of the driveshaft, making it a 1 piece. Of coarse you have to account for axle wrap. I'm not sure what stock is but I can't imagine it being more then 2° difference. You have a 4° difference.
