With all the SAS kit talk lately, let me show you what I sent to a member already, this is what I would envision a production SAS bracket kit to look like, brackets built in together, with gemoetry that matches up to the frame:

I want to do the fj case with the twin sticks but don't have the money for a crawl box to go with it. Can I throw in the fj case interchangeably with the taco case? Drive shafts and all? Or do I need to change anything else???

The FJ case has a different spline than the tacoma case. It's not a direct swap on the manual trans. It's the same size so the driveshafts would remain the same.
Here's everything you'd want to know about doing this mod:

Of course I haven't seen any pictures of the RST kit, but what you sent out is what I would have expected. I'm guessing that's not the case?

    Looks good from here!

Nothing major to report, but I finally got around to getting a new spare driveshaft made to replace the one I toasted back on Memorial day...the only time the tuck was out so far this year :(

Well had an interesting few minute wheeling this weekend. Trip lasted all of about 20 minutes...then I snapped the pinion shaft off my rear D60 :(

More to come including pictures...but the good news is once again ingenuity prevails and trailers suck :p Pulled the rear shafts (FF axle) and made some caps for the hubs from styrofoam plates to hold the gear oil in the hubs/wheel bearings, and drove home front wheel drive. Made it home safe and sound!

Well, he was 20 minutes in... so probably had just paid the entrance fee and headed for the trails, only to kaboom the pinion while pulling out of the parking lot haha

lol. My buddy in his fj55 blew the rear drive shaft pulling out of the campground and was 3 truck lengths down the entrance road, one of the funniest things I ever saw wheeling!
