Thanks G-52. I'm looking at the paperwork now and I see your point of view. It's probably way easier to look at it that way as it really simplifies the math.

I still have to go through all of the paperwork at signing and see how it goes... But this is the deal right now and I plan to walk out if it changes. Worst case scenario I can go to a GM dealer and get employee pricing though my father... Not my prefered option, but it's a locked in price.

Here is the payment estimation (based on 72m loan, my down payment, and my best guess at interest rates). The numbers seem to be staying the same.

We are still (in my mind) far from closing this deal and me being able to call an "out the door" price. I expect more "offers" to pop up but I really don't have an interest in extended care programs or warranty offers... no matter how "good" the deal is. I put down $500 good faith, really just a credit card hold, and delivery is set for 12/22/2015.

Thanks Z50king. I'm as straight a shooter as you will find. The dealer has been (so far) as easy as anyone I have ever dealt with. You're response is making me more confident in the offer than I was before. I felt like it was going well, but wasn't 100% sure. I am in South Carolina. Once I get the sale complete and everything goes well, I will gladly share all of the dealer info publicly. I want to be sure they stick to the deal and treat me the same on the backend as they have on the front end. Anyone interested in details now can private message me (I assume thats possible here) and I will gladly share any details you're interested in.

 

I warn you to be cautious when they start talking numbers in the signing room. I assume you will take the financing so they may try to push a bunch of shit on you all at once before you sign to it. That price is ridiculously low so I am wary of the final numbers they present you.

 

So the best offer I could find in Texas or the surrounding states was Cowboy Toyota in Dallas, TX. They are taking orders at invoice price. Keep in mind though that invoice pricing for Gulf States Toyota is slightly higher than the rest of the country (from what I've researched and understood).

 

I am looking to order a TRD OR 4x4 DCLB. The only option is tow package and all weather mats. They are quoting me 35,599 out the door in North Carolina. What do you guys think?

My understanding is the fees are set by region. That's the real fee. No markup. Do like I did, get a worksheet from them or get a shot of the window sticker and post it.

the destination fee is a shared fee among all buyers. It's a federal law. You will pay that no matter what. If any dealer crosses it off or tells you that you don't have to pay, they are committing fraud and should be reported
