    I have a suspension question. Right now I've got 883 and 5100's set to zero. I have a bumper, winch, steel cable on the winch, a heavy-as-beans IFS skid plate, and will have two more skids up front in the future. I'm wondering if y'all think the Eibach 620lb coils would lift me too high and cause me to pop CV boots. I don't have a diff drop, and have never had an issue with boots on my 883's. I'm looking for something a little stiffer, and found some Eibach coils on CL.

    I feel like with all the weight you should be okay. But I don't have any personal experience with those.

    Thanks. I'd like something that rides a little firmer, but I'd rather deal with squishier handling than broken CVs

    The squishy-ness is more likely attributable to the horrible valving in your 5100s than your coils.

    Swap the shocks.

    The coils you have now are 590 rate vs 620lb rate. Not really worth it.

    Maybe go with the ome sport shocks. Theyre designed to work ith the 883's and are definitely stiffer than 5100s

    Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll stay current height with my happy CV's and look at shocks instead. Maybe one day when I have a year-round job I can save up for some coilovers....That's a long way down the road though. My job right now is to make my grades to keep scholarships

    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    I'm hoping i can just weld on 1/4" squares behind the current tabs. I think @SilverGhost did something similar.
