    Edit: problem solved

Took a few tries cycling through on/off but eventually got it to disable with 3 button clicks on the blue light under the steering wheel.

Has anyone figured out how to disable the horn while locking and unlocking the truck? I'm fine with the little beeps but the horn is annoying. Found information on how to do it on a 2nd gen but nothing for the 3rd gen yet. Tried some of the 2nd gen tips and nothing has worked thus far.

I only see settings for lights and the chime. Tried turning off feedback tone but the horn still honked. 20151208_120207.jpg

Hmm, you have the Toyota alarm? I need to take a look at my settings as I only have tone and no horn.

May have to go to the dealer and see if they can change the setting in the computer but.... you may not be able to change it and have to live with it.

many dealers install a "KARR" module which adds on to stock alarm, if you have a blue led under the steering wheel thats it.

if you have that then to turn the "honks" on and off all you need to do is turn the key to "on" then remove the key, then press the button on the back of the LED 6 times. The horn will sound to let you know its worked.

Yeah this must be specific to the alarm. I've only got beeps here, no horn.

Hmm good point, maybe turn ignition on by pressing with no foot on brake, then tap again to turn off

Figured it out! Took a few tries cycling through on/off but eventually got it to disable with 3 button clicks on the blue light under the steering wheel.

I CANNOT get this to work. This horn is driving me nuts. With key in the ON position, I press three times, get a honk, turn off key, go through lock/unlock with key fob, STILL HAVE HORN HONKS. Done this a bunch of times with no luck. Even tried 6 presses. No change.

It can't possibly be this difficult. Anyone else have a different experience?
