Think I might be kicking myself in the butt for not waiting for the letters.

Think of it this way: The white letters will show a lot of dead bugs. They'll not be as noticeable in the black mesh.

I used a Dremel to remove the middle peg and trim the outer two so they would fit the grill. Used double stick tape to secure.

Likewise but I prefer not to polish and buff 6 letters every time I drive the truck between March and November. hahaha

Are you able to make one of those grills with a sports logo across the mesh? Say a Seattle Seahawk?

Some logos could probably be done. The Seahawk logo is a bit more detail than what my machine would be able to cut. You'd likely need to source that from someone who's got a laser cutter.

Outsourcing it to a local guy who's done some quality work for us with past projects. The only finishing we do in house is powder coat black, both flat and gloss, for some pre-cut parts (the rest of the powder coating is outsourced locally).

@customcargrills I'm on your website right now and looking to order a flat black grill with bezel and custom lettering. I read in some previous posts you use glue to mount the letters as opposed to mounting with hardware or welding. Does the glue have a strong bond? does it put up with the elements? I live in Northern Nevada and am concerned this method might not hold up.

I ordered the material and glue from @customcargrills to do my 2015 grill and I can say the glue is super strong. I attached my letters with it and they are solid as a rock after a year of washing my truck 1-2 times a week. I literally get inches away with a pressure washer to remove bugs. So don't worry about the glue. I live in Wisconsin with cold winters and hot summer's.

Apologies for the delayed response. Kingair84 gave a good testimonial to the Goop, thanks.

From my personal experience (in Michigan) this adhesive seems to hold up well. The very first time I used the product was in 2002 to bond a grill to my bumper as well as a carbon fiber gas door to a hinge. Almost 14 years later, the car is still on the road and both of the parts are still firmly attached. Other climates may see different results, but I can say that since we've been selling letters across the world, I don't recall selling a replacement letter as a result of using this method.

Black mesh, on black bezel, with super white installed letters current full price is $479 + shipping. Current TW Member price would be $431 + shipping. If you had your own black bezel and did the installs yourself, current TW Member pricing would be $198 + shipping.

Just finished my install. Started a little slow because I was to chicken to pull the grill off. Thanks to @JHFMX for telling me to pull up then out. Once I did it came right off.

Once the 8 screws came out everything was pretty easy. A few of the tabs while removing the grill were a little tricky. I have big hands so I couldn't get to them that easy. Once I grabbed the grill and pulled it close they came right out.

Everything went in super easy and that includes back on the truck.

@customcargrills thank you very much for shipping me a great product. I knew it was going to look good but now I think it looks great!!!

Looks real sharp! Great to hear it arrived in good condition and you're happy with it.

Would love to see a pic of it out in the sun to use for the customer gallery on our site (hoping to compile the pics this weekend).
