I think it is tape though because a member on here was selling a used set and said the tape needed to be replaced.

Correct sir, it is tape for the rears. I have the Weathertech ones on my DCSB. They've been on since April of this year, with zero issues. The fronts don't have any tape or other mounting hardware, they are just held in with pressure from the way they're installed, since they go down to the window sill. I love mine and have had zero issues with anything, including tint being affected.

Not at the moment, no. I can try to get some this afternoon for you. What are you looking for? How far they go down on the fronts?

Just installed the weathertech's. Front ones are so tight at the top that one of them cracked! They are sending me a new one, but now I'm not sure if I want to keep them. They look great and work, but I don't want to screw up my truck.

Has anyone else had this issue with the weathertech's?

Had Weathertechs for 6 years now , no issues beyond on of the rears loosened up about 2 years ago and needed some new tape , beyond that no problems

Make sure thr track is clean before you try to install them

It's definitely clean. It is such a tight fit especially on the driver's side, I can actually feel the weather stripping bulging out on both sides when I roll the window up. I'm talking about the very top corner of the window. Maybe I just got a bad one because all the reviews on them are great.

I'll wait and see what happens with the new ones. Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this issue with the weathertech's.
