These are courses through Samford University, a private university here in Birmingham. Each runs the length of regular in-person classes. There are some students who are taking regular classes and online classes concurrently. I don't know what the limit is, though. As a father of two with a full-time job, my limit is 2! I have a Masters in Accountancy from Alabama already, so I was able to opt-out of two electives and only have to take 10 courses instead of the standard 12.

Each class I've taken has had between 12-20 students in it. They've been from as far away as Washington St and as close as me (I live just 5 miles from campus). You're welcome to sit in on the in-person courses if you'd like, but all of your coursework, lectures, class meetings, group work, etc. are handled online. I've only set foot on campus once - I needed a book that I couldn't find online, but was available in their bookstore.

    What program are you in?

I'm doing the full time program which is 4.5 classes a semester. I was fortunate enough to get a GA so I could work on campus part time and leave my job. I can't imagine the workload doing what you're doing with work and the kiddos

The list of top-notch linebacker recruits considering Notre Dame has continued to grow.

Ben Davis, the top inside linebacker in the 2016 class, named the Irish in his top five on Monday. Davis tweeted the list, which included Georgia at No. 1, Alabama at No. 2, LSU at No. 3, Notre Dame at No. 4 and Auburn at No. 5.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound prospect from Gordo, Ala., received a visit from Irish running backs coach Autry Denson last week. Davis has said he plans to make an official visit to Notre Dame, which would likely come in January.

Kind of odd he picks 4 SEC schools and then Notre Dame

Sounds like a shitty time to convince someone to move to South Bend. It's gonna be 80 here on Friday!

I agree. I would like to see what peeked his interest in South Bend. Sounds like he is pretty much set on playing in the SEC.

LSU will have more NFL prospects than anybody. Florida is ranked way above Michigan State in terms of defense. Arkansas is also not too shabby, nor Ole Miss, Nor Miss State, etc.

I think his dad is alabama's all time leading tackler. He's pushing him hard to go to Bama, which I think was his #1 before Smart was announced at UGA.

I'm thinking about getting tickets to the FSU/Houston game. I don't care about either team, but my buddy is a big FSU fan and tickets are soooo cheap. Found lower endzone tickets for like $65 each
