I would assume they took the '750 over' dealio because the truck had just rolled off a transport, it doesn't need sales people to call and annoy people about it, and it won't sit on the lot earning interest. They would only get around 1500 dollars more at MSRP, I would guess.... and it's the 27th or 28th of the month, maybe they were close to their tier.

I'm glad it worked out for you. Now all we need is a DCLB OR to arrive at a dealership before someone has already ordered it... We are still awaiting our Dec 12th to 16th build date

You can go to Merced Toyota and order for 250 over invoice. Depending on what you order, it could take 1 to 6 months

 

I'm at the point where I'm gonna pay 1000 over invoice and be done with it. Merced is pretty far from SoCal

oh most definitely. Now my problem is that the dealer I'm working with is trying to get my truck from another dealers allocation. It has the exterior package and the paint protection that i dont want but it's the only truck that has the FP package and color i want. So waiting to hear if that goes through. If it does I'm hoping to get some of the accessories changed. Just want a new truck already.

 

If it's only in allocation, it does not have any paint protection or exterior crap. They don't do that at the factory. Ask them to remove it from their port/dealer options and make it cost less

 

He said he has to get it in his allocation first and couldn't guarantee that it can be changed. Can never get a straight answer

Toyota of Orange wants to charge 1000 over MSRP for DCLB OR

 

yah, ive heard worst out there, I heard a dealer that I do dealer trades with charge 5-6k over msrp. Its a brutal market right now.

 

5-6k over is Elmore i believe. They're not ashamed of it either.

 

Sorry but Those prices are awful. Anyone can get those deals anywhere.

This was about 2 - 3 months ago special order so I am not sure what they will be able to do in today's current market.

 

When we got our first allocation and first orders, we were pricing them about a couple hundred over invoice. Then once we started getting more allocation, and build books from toyota the quantity was a lot less than the 2015 model year. Short supply is probably how Toyota is keeping their ~70% residual value.

 

Except california.

 

I don't think they are giving that deal anymore.
