Ok so I finally got the exhaust reroute done by a buddy of mine for a few beers and hands while doing it. I can weld but not pretty, and didn't have the tools needed to bend the pipe.

Here is the before photo with the pipe going under the transfer case and in the way of my Pelfrey skid:

Then here are the photos of the reroute, love how it turned out:

That's actually very awesome. Props to you sir.

Maybe add some heat shielding above the new crossover pipe?

    But again. Very Nice.

Yeah I was thinking of adding some heat protection, it's lifted up still and has been running for about thirty minutes and I'm about to go check how hot everything near it is. We didn't have anything in hand to use to make one so if needed, I'll go grab something to weld on. My buddy thinks it will be fine though, it's pretty far away from everything where we put it.

But at least I will be able to print a picture, and say "Do this"
    Thanks.

Yeah I might look into wrapping it tomorrow before I install skids. Now to find some wrap local.

don't wrap it. The wrap will absorb moisture and rust the pipe out faster.

I kinda thought about that happening. Do you think it would be best to paint or apply some sort of protectant over all the new work?

    Ooooooooo, kinky.
Aside from the previously mentioned bends, it looks good.

Correct, my name is Denver and I live in Kentucky. But I'm currently searching for houses in Denver so soon Denver will be in Denver! Thinking I'll throw on the skids and run it as is becuase of how much clearance there is between the reroute and the transfercase and driveshaft.

Probably thought of it in the during design. The 90 degree bends the OP put it will restrict air flow more so than the factory pipe and maybe why they didn't do it that way. Basically any bend 90 degrees will inhibit air flow to some degree. Will it make any difference here... ??

Did you end up doing any type heat shielding? I'll be doing a reroute on Friday and also have Pelfreybilt skids to go on after.

Looks good. I can’t find a reliable option in Southern California. So many hack jobs.
