    I don't know that these people are so much assholes as just lazy, self-centered, stupid f***s. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always defined assholery as doing something KNOWING it'll piss someone off. I'm pretty sure most of these people are entirely clueless.

    Now, this morning, I was an asshole. I couldn't make a left turn because there was a line of cars stopped in the shared turn lane. After about 10 min I got sick of it, and I went, knowing that one car would probably have to slow down (as in, let off the gas) and another would have to change lanes or slow down or they would hit me. One yelled angrily at me (which I deserved) and we all went on our way. Unlike the clueless parkers, I knew it would piss people off and just didn't care.

    If it doesn't cross your mind that parking like a moron will piss people off you are an asshole.

    Like it was said everyone is an asshole in my opinion the difference is that some people put the little extra work and effort in to try not to be one.

    I think there is a bit of a gray area. Having intent or knowledge that you are going harm to others I've always considered to be the primary difference between an asshole and an asshat (or dumb ass if you prefer). If a reasonable person should know better, then the person is still an asshole IMO. Either way the perpetrator comes out an ass. At times you have to do what you have to do knowing full well you are going to :censored: with other people. If you try to minimize the damage you are in effect negating, as least to some extent, your assery.

    With that said, I think any reasonable person would know better than to park like most of the shitty parking we see on this thread (there are some exceptions). So, they are still assholes IMO.

    All of this is not to be confused with a jackass that drives a white BMW. Guys like this

    going to be fun!
    Funny thing happened this weekend. My girlfriend is looking at a BMW X4 so we go to the BMW dealership and then I see the guy that drives this car that used to work at the Toyota dealer where I get my truck serviced and Is now a asst sales manager at the BMW dealer.

    So we are trying to work a deal on the X4 and we are getting no where and I mean no where (offers being refused). So i suspect that "I" am being singled out here and as suspected, I watch our salesman go up to the deal tower and who is he dealing with? Yes this jackass douche bag.

    So when he comes back I ask if he has ever seen anything like this with so many offers be refused he said no, so I said I think I know whats going on here. I then pulled out my phone showed him the the pic above and asked is this the car that the guy in the sales tower drives and did he work at a local Toyota dealer he said yes and that is his car.

    I then asked if we could have the GM come over and talk to us? The salesman said sure he is right there I will get him be right back. He then comes over I explained the current situation and the past ( My dealings with him at the Toyota dealer and then showed him this asshole parking thread on TW) that our offers are being shot out of the sky at every offer made (8)....

    So, I am pissed at this point we get up gather the few things we have and go to leave the GM comes over and asked where we were going I said we have no real desire to be here anymore after this experience.

    LoL This is awesome. Not for you obviously. But the fact this dude is likely to get canned again for being an asshole. His job is to sell cars for his dealer. Refusing to sell to a paying client for personal vendetta just proves what his parking does. That he is just an asshole. He isn't doing his job.
