This is not a criticism, but a legitimate question:

Why are radius light bars twice the price of straight ones?

manufacturing, marketing, supply and demand :notsure:

Because of the curve. The extrusion process to make the back fins and the front plate is harder to make. And so cost more. Also could be the spot Crees are more pricy for the housing of the reflectors. But you do get the distance of the spot fanned out so it has some flood.

The first part is understandable because of the extra curved dies involved. But once the dies are made.......

I was thinking of getting a curved 50 combo, but it appears that a curved spot eliminates the need for a combo beam.

    Hmmmmm......

the curved bars with the single bolt are more because my one vender charges more. My Senlips vender has the two bolt mounting style is cheaper. The 50" curved is 170.00. I have to post the two bolt style prices.

    What is the difference in light output from the 50" - 288 watts - 2 bolt vs. 50" - 23,880 - 1 bolt vs. the 50" 4D?

And a 20" or 30" for the grill... Not sure which makes most sense.

Anyone have any recommendations for a setup like this? Thoughts on floods and spots welcomed

Where can I get brackets for the straight 40 inch double row?

The output are about the same in all the 50" bars. They are all 3 watt Cree chips. The 4D projector has a farther throw then the standard.

And for the grill. A 20" fits behind the top grill and a 30" fits in the bottom bumper grill. Combo is best I think.

Not really sure. Maybe try a local off road shop.
