Agree. I had the 4 leaf TSB done on my 07 Regular Cab and they were great.

My 2013 RC 4X4 came with a 3 pack and would hit the bump stops with 325 Lbs from the get go. I said something to the service manger and he told me he would put a 4 pack on at no charge. Done deal. Still wont haul a load but is better.

My packs looked exactly the same with a 200lb canopy on the truck. With camping gear and a couple bikes they were reverse arched. Upgraded my leaf pack to wheelers 5 leaf HD and I'll never look back.

My experience was virtually the same. I ran the Toyota TSB 4-leaf pack for about 50K miles. I didn't tow or haul heavy loads unless camping in the desert.

Lots of truth in this thread too. Toyota made the leaf pack to ride flat by design. If you pull the leaf pack out of the truck, it will have an arch, but under normal truck weight, it's flat.

My springs were smoked after 50K miles, and were negative arch all the time. I swapped to Dakar leaf pack and couldn't be more happy. :D

Yep. My thoughts exactly. Time for Dakars.

If I've learned anything here on TW it's that Tacoma rear leaf springs always end up flat or sagging.

just checked out two 2015 Silverado's here at work. both have curved rear leaf springs. they look like what I would expect rear leafs to look like. there is much more curve to them than my Tacoma had before I put the air bags on.

I don't get all the concern over the leafs. Geometrically, they have to be basically flat. Given the placement of spring perches in relation to the axle, they have to be about flat at stock height.

here is a pic of the 2015 4x4. not a huge arch but not flat in my opinion (at least not as flat as mine was).

and here is my springs after I put the air bags on.

    IMG_20151209_102423949_HDR.jpg

nice slight arch at 15 pounds in the air bags. I agree that flat is fine as long as that was the design intent. But I will also say that before the air bags mine were not flat, they were caved upward at the middle with NO weight in the bed.

12091510201.JPG2.jpg Well here is ours with the flat bed so you can see it from one end to the other, its not completely flat like the Toyota, but compared to how they used to be they sure look flat to me.
