Tires are 275/70/17 about $200 a tire but i got a $70 total discount from costco. Tube steps are OEM predator steps, you'll save money going the NFab route. Check out customcargrills.com for the grill. They have several options depending on how much you want to spend and how much work you want to do on your own.

 

Great looking truck. Would you be willing to take a tape measure to the tread width? I currently have 275/70/17 KO's and I'm looking into upgrading to KO2's. Curious whether the actual measured tread width as changed since the old KO 275's shared a tread width with the 265's (Same tread mold).

 

Ill try to do it when i get home from work.

No prob. Id recommend getting the front top plate spacer & 885 coils.

 

So would the top plate spacer just level it off? Also, how much stiffer would the front end be with the 885 coils?

 

Yea. It will level it out. Personally i think its just a little bit stiffer.

 

gotcha, sounds good. I was wondering because I tow sometimes and like the slight rake to make up for when the rear end goes down some. Truck looks nice by the way. I'm liking those fog lights.

 

Thanks brother. Fog light film is from lamin-x if you're interested. If you want a little rake just skip on the top plate spacer.

And just to confirm, you are running 275/70/R17? Have you had a chance to move through full wheel travel and if so, any rubbing then? If you are running 275, any reason you didn't go 285? Sorry for all the questions...the truck I ordered should be here next month and I want to run a setup very similar to yours along with a OME suspension kit. I know the stock OR wheels/tires will have a higher resale the newer they are and can't exactly afford to do both suspension and wheel upgrade right out the gate.

 

Yea. 275/70/17. No rubbing that i've noticed. Didnt go 285 because I didnt want to risk rubbing, have that extra weight to slow me down and reduce my mpg or encounter any gearing issues.

 

I've been trying to find me a good size to put on my stock sport. I would love to lift one day, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Tires will be way before lift. You guys recommend going with 275/70/17 or something smaller? I don't do anything crazy, but do tend to go down some generic mountain trails. I had an off road before the sport and ran the 265/75/16 tires. I've been searching through the forums, but haven't found any solid info yet.
