We have a 2014 Tacoma Sport now. I was asked to look at the new 2016 and to decide which one I like better. It has been difficult for me to decide. Up until today, I thought it was our 2014 but I'm pretty sure I've changed my mind :). Today I was able to see a new 3 Gen right next to a 2 Gen. I've read how they are very similar. As long as the new 3 Gen is not more difficult to drive or turn or park, I think it is my favorite. The reason today changed my mind is because to me, the 3 Gen really appears very different in things that are important to me. The Gen 3 not only looks much bigger but to me it also looks safe and better made. Whether it really is safer or better made will be someone elses choice. I know I don't know enough to decide.

The black truck was a brand new 2015 Limitied. It seemed like it was much smaller than the 2016 Sport.
I've read about the back door being much better in the new truck. I could certainly see it is MUCH wider and I could feel it is much heavier.
I've also read about the different fronts. I think I like the black one best.

They are the same size because they are essentially the same truck.

If he hadn't said the black one was the '15, I wouldn't have been able to tell them apart...

    Cool story bro?

This is the most random shit ever.

I read about the drum brakes, but I like monkeys more than dogs.

I like how it's blatantly obvious this guy parked the 2016 closer than the 2015 so it would appear as if the 2016 is twice the size.

OP, do you take your hunting photos the same way?

Why black out the license plates on the new trucks on the lots?

Do you need to know, or care?
For what it's worth (cause it IS just MY opinion), I traded in a '13 LTD for a '16 LTD because I liked the looks and especially the new interior and options. I live in Canada, so we get the 6' box. If I could only get a LTD in a 5' box, then I would have bought a TRD with the Tech package.

Tell you what though, both are awesome, it's all a matter of opinion. Go with what feels right.

I think the bigger question is why black out license plates at all? It's a federal crime (DPPA) to provide owner data based off of a plate number without a legitimate reason.

I think one of the major parts I like about the 3rd gen over the 2nd is the beefed up tailgate, and everything about the tailgate.

its funny how people on here block plates out online yet everybody can see it on the road every day. Unless they block it then too:confused:
