I know I have been AWOL as well for a while... I could be down for the 19th or 20th depending on the specifics keep me posted. I believe you have my digits if not let me know.

 

Anybody want to go on the Whittier Blvd Night Cruise this Friday?

 

So who's in for the 20th?
The first option is Johnson Valley- I've never been so it'd be cool of someone that knows the trails would come along. I don't mind doing a little exploring and just looking around for myself, but I usually go at a slower pace when I explore because I like to take in the views. I can see how that would get boring for some of you go-fast guys.

The other option is Gorman. It's fun and there is a wide variety of terrain for prerunning and a few more spots that get more technical for a slower pace. It's all 2wd friendly but there are a few places where the 4x4 crowd can stretch their legs a bit.

It's next week so let me know so we can start compiling a list of meet-up spots and exchange contact info for those that need it.

I've never been to Gorman...I'm 2wd but I'd like to try some technical stuff to see what my truck is capable of.

Man, I haven't been to cruise Whittier in years. Haha!

 

I never been period, I hear they dont do it as often. Back in the days they did them every Sunday guessing their doing this one on a friday night.

 

Yeah, I used to go in the early 90s when I was a teenager. Shit got hot for a while and there were fights and a few shootings (it was the 90s afterall) so they outlawed it all together for a while. I guess when I calmed down they started doing it again and the city stepped in to make it official. Great for the community, but there's always knuckleheads that mess it up for everyone else.

 

Yea I wasn't even in the making in those good old days but I heard great stories even other than the horrible ones. Well I'll see how this one turns out.

It's been somewhat confirmed who was doing this, have his an address and all its an ongoing investigation not sure how long its going to take on the Police sides. For now I'm waiting on all my cards replacement which is devastating, its surely a mess that is getting sorted out.

Hope it all gets sorted out soon. You have evidence that it is in fact another IP address that created the thumper account correct? I'd worry about you getting accused of making the other account.

Yea well I'm not getting much support as you'd think I would from here but PayPal has a really good team investigating this too so most likely there will be a great outcome.
