Sounds like Brasso. I've actually polished a metal trash can with that before.

It's like brasso but pre-absorbed in fiber material.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I just looked it up. They call the stuff it's in wadding. Never Dull, Brasso and the stuff I grew up on using - Buckaroo are all about the same. Buckaroo is marketed as a cymbal cleaner and I always used that to clean mine. They sell Never Dull almost every where and it's cheap

Rigged up a Yakima Sky Box Cargo net on the underside of my cap. Will use for hanging fly rods & general stuff while camping, hunting & fishing. Attached using some knobs I threaded onto the rack mounting plate bolts.

Just figured out, I can't do the clock/no clock switch because my clock and hazard button are part of the radio surround :(

^Look closer. The clock and hazard button are a separate unit removable from the radio bezel from the back.

Thanks for the info. Nevr-Dull costs $8 for a can of wadding that I used two small pieces from. We'll see how long it stays clean. I might have to apply wax as you say, if rust spots reappear in a short time.

Thanks for sharing these! I was looking for an easy mod to add some light to the console. $50 shipped. Can't beat it.

Four 10mm screws behind the HVAC controls and the whole bezel comes free. Easy peasy.

Yeah they're separate units in the radio bezel. I used a few butter knives to undo the clips holding it in and it will just slide out.

Nice usage of the rack bolts! If I had a cap, I'd be doing this too.

There is no excuse for Toyota ditching the clock imo. Sure it's on the radio but...

Just like the temp display. Wtf.

My dad just bought a set of 2016 TRD Off Road wheels and tires (Goodyear Kevlar with 16in wheels) from a TW member here. He already has a 2012 DCSB TRD Off Road. My question is can he use the same lug nuts from his 2012 on his new wheels?
