I always get a clunk/pop from my front end after an alignment. just tightening everything you can get a socket on does the trick. trust me. have gone through this numerous times. I did as hand tight as I could go. I know the torque numbers.. but sometimes it just needs more than that to get it all settled in.

Finally fixed this problem. It ended up being the shock itself. I went months with this stupid thing. Basically, the shop I bought the Kings from screwed up....multiple times. First and foremost they gave me 700lb coils instead of 600lb, which without any kind of plate bumper makes it ride like there's no suspension, and in turn makes clunks all over. Second, and what was the main issue to begin with, is that they gave me the complete wrong shaft. I bought extended travel shocks, but it came with standard travel shafts in both shocks. Basically it was reverse bottoming out on every down travel. I hope this didn't cause any long term damage, but I finally have a nice driving truck that off-roads amazingly.

    rear locker anytime mod, lifted
When I still had my 05 I had ordered all my parts from an offroad shop and they did the same thing. Gave me the wrong length shocks for the rear. I could not figure it out and where the clunk was coming from. It only would bottom out when driving over a curb or descent bump. I actually separated my shock from driving on it all highway"no offroading" as it was the DD. They wanted my old shocks for warranty and I was not about to spend more money while I waited for them to come back. I had the Rancho 9000's at the time so my truck sat on the leafs for a week. Good thing I had a cool boss who let me take the work truck home!!!
