Finally got around to installing LED interior lights, license plate lights, and reverse lights. Been sitting in the garage for a week. Motivation at its finest.

Thanks for the help! What did you use to mount it to the cover?

Hey - how did you get the front cabin bulbs out? The space in the reflector is tight, and I can't a good grip on the bulb to remove it.

the forum said to use duct tape, but I used packaging tape since I had some laying around.but wrap it around the bulb and pull on the tape. it took me a couple different tries to get it. just takes a little patience.

    So far....

    15% tint up front
Dipped the grille, badges, and wheels
    Removed V6 badge
    Vinyl Tacoma inserts
    Salex organizer
And because I'm cheap I bought this $20 box from home depot. The cool thing about it is it's actually very waterproof.

Are you asking about the map lights overhead up front? I just pulled the whole panel out of the ceiling - it simply pops out with some clips, the bulb housing simply twists out and then the bulb is easy to remove. Then just lock it back in! Easy.

It comes with 2 screws to mount it. I was going to use 3m tape but that would prevent sliding the light in and out to change battery and/or use it for other things like a good light for camping. Just make sure u screw it on the "thicker" part of cover so screw wouldn't go thru the cover.

Today was the day! Ordered 10-9 Received 12-9. with OEM roof rack, and ARE V Series Topper with Yakima rack. Getting Vision Fury Blue/Black wheels installed tomorrow. Thanks to NoDak for finding a wheel that fits the OEM tires! I think they will look pretty damn sweet with the topper! Everyone on here is right, the pictures just don't even compare to standing next to it, both the lines and the BBP color. Wow! It really puts the 2012 OR I had to shame. The cabin is WAY quieter and the engine has a totally different feel. Well worth the 8 & 1/2 week wait!
