    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Denso or NGK, your engine came with both from the factory, literally, it came with three Densos and three NGKs. NGK will recommend the right one on its web page, and Denso you can just ask the service guy at Toyota. But I wouldn't deviate from those two choices.

    Sounds like what my truck was doing when the plugs were worn. You want the NGK or Denso which look like this...

    If the cathode is burned to a nub you will get serious balking and stuttering on hill climbs and gear changes.

    Thanks, it's the CBI Moab 1.0 DIY kit. I got tabs welded on the inside to put two led spots in the triangles too.

    I've got a set of OEM plugs and wires waiting to be installed. OEM plugs cost me $13.56 FYI.

    For iridium plugs it's 30K. I believe normal spark plugs can last 15K but I could be wrong
