That's what I was looking for. Cool, different and a little more security than a tonneau cover. Thanks!!

Beautiful truck! These things look great with caps on too.

But please, while you still have a chance, do not buy those wheels. They're bro wheels. Cheaply made and extremely heavy for the size. I'm not arguing the design or style, that's all subjective. But they're technically poorly made and will lower your truck's performance. Either buy a higher quality wheel, or stay stock. In my opinion at least. Either way your truck itself is gorgeous, I just wanna see it stay that way.

Well for anyone following my case, my insurance company (usaa) won't total the vehicle because caliber collision says it can be repaired. They are sending the truck to Toyota who will swap the frame for a new one and then send it back to caliber for the rest of the repairs. So far the repair estimate is $18,790. I was told I won't get the truck back till March. So now it's really hard to look at this site without getting upset. By the way for the five minutes I drove it, it was awesome.

I don't know the whole story I'll admit but is your insurance paying for a rental until March?

Well, I've always got the original wheels, and the sport wheels are pretty awesome, so I can always swap them out anytime. I drive a Prius V pretty much everywhere. I only put 19,000 miles on the 2012 Taco I had. Mostly used it for hauling mulch and compost and a second set of wheels when my wife and i have to be different places at the same time. Although, it's going to be very difficult for me to scoop that first dirty ass scoop of compost into this beautiful machine.

Might be time for small, color-matched trailer. ;)

Just kidding, it's a truck. Do truck things with it.

That really does suck...a lot of hassle for what looks like not that much damage. You mentioned in your original post it was "poorly built" in your opinion. How fast was the vehicle going when it rear-ended you? What type of vehicle was it? I know these new 3 piece rear bumpers for 2016 were supposedly designed to be less expensive to replace/repair, but if they also result in frame damage when rear-ended, then $19k is not very inexpensive.
