    stick shift access cab is the only one true truck, gentlemen.. the rest are just girly versions of what real men refer to as this thing we call a 'truck'

    had more than one woman comment on the stick shift thing, in this day and age many women want a man to know how to drive one, how to fix things, etc. the double cab thing could go either way, pretty much anyone sees the practicality of the proper rear doors/seats but i passed on it, rather have a 6 foot bed since i have to put a motorcycle in it.

    I bought a Regular cab Dodge Dakota R/T many years ago thinking that since I was single I only needed one extra seat for a female.

    Stupidest decision I ever made. Absolutely nowhere to stow crap unless you get a topper. Regular cab trucks shouldn't even be made in my opinion. I think that's why Toyota only makes an "Access Cab" or a Double Cab.

    Lol I was born that way.

    True story; years back when I was in middle school I was on the swim team which had just started. So the coach had several pairs of speedos so I tried them on. Well several female members of them team where observing my uh modeling. Needless to say they took a very long time to decide which color pattern was best. Being a bit daft at that tender age I did not realize until I got home that day the true reason for the girls lengthy selection process.

    I bought my regular cab because I was single, no intentions of getting married in the next 10 years, and wanted to have a truck I could easily pay off. I occasionally wish I had an access cab but I am very happy with my truck. The gf can't really sleep on trips so we just talk and enjoy the drive. Since it is paid off I am not really worried about the future. I will just get a 4runner if and when a family happens. Then my reg cab can go under the knife more often and become a trail rig.

    I saw a lifted GMC Sierra today that was a regular cab. And much like the Tundra in the post just above... it looked kind of stupid.

    My not so humble opinion. ;) Just something about full sized trucks lifted as regular cabs that doesn't seem right to me.
