Hey guys i've looked on here and i've found some info but nothing that really pertains to my situation. I currently have a 3" lift on my 2015 Tacoma Double Cab 4.0 v6 TRD offroad and i got a 1" Toytec bodylift installed this past weekend and the guys didn't modify the wheel speed sensor wire bracket in the engine bay. I was driving home and then the VSC and ABS light came on and i looked under the hook and one of the wires got pulled out of the plug connector. The plug part # is 11002 or #11005 i cant remember the last number. The sensor wire is on the passenger side. I don't know how to disassemble the plug but i spliced the wires together but the lights are still on. Can anybody tell me what to do next. i really don't want to buy a new wiring harness from toyota. Is there a way i can clear the codes or something. Any help or guideance to a post i cant find would be appreciated guys

i had the same issue man. once the problem was fixed, the ONLY way i successfully got the lights to come off was to bring it to the dealer and let them clear the codes. cost me like $48 but hey, the lights are off now and everything is working just fine. sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet on this kind of stuff

My VSC has come on a couple of times after modifying the suspension, the lights went away after I had an alignment and disconnected / reconnected the battery

Ok yeah i tried disconnecting the battery but it's still there and ok i'll take it by there and see what they will charge for it. My buddy also mentioned resetting the trucks computer but i don't wanna have to go through the hassle of that.

also does anyone know how to take apart the Toyota sensor plug under the hood. I noticed there was a white tab inside the plug that would pull out about 1/8" but wouldn't come out of the plug and the two terminals were still locked in somehow. If anyone can point me in the direction of a manual or how-to it would be much appreciated

Nope not for the vsc and as far as the abs you might have to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and reconnect and that should clear that

When you disconnected your battery, how long did you leave it disconnected?

I don't recall, it was disconnected from the time i unbolted the air inlet to the truck and the blower to when i unattached the wheel sensor wire from the truck to take a look at it and then reassembly. So i can't be 100% since i didn't time it

You can try disconnecting the battery again and leaving it disconnected for approximately 10-15 minutes. Doing this should clear the codes. If not, then you may have to take it to the dealer.
