Life has been very hectic these past few months. It still is not settling down even though I thought it had... I am not sure where this Johnson Vally is or if I will be able to take the day to play but I am most definitely interested. I hope all is well with you and your family!

 

@GHOST SHIP we need a way to sort the location. Seems some people say they'd be down for Johnson valley, which seems to be a wide open version of Gorman and we've never been.

I'm finishing up finals in Santa Barbara today and throwing in my leaf pack. Should be heading down toward LA Friday morning and Victoria Gardens is near my parents place so I should make it.

 

I know you'll be fine at Gorman. We got a few guys that have come out with us on stock suspension and they do just fine. Never been to Johnson either, but my very scientific YouTube research confirms what @Z50king said above. ^ Of course with the exception of the Hammers.

I'm good for Johnson Valley if a bunch of others are. Its just far for a day trip. If some people wanna go out the 19th, consume beers and campout I'd be down to head out there.
This shits getting confusing cause some other guys are starting a list for Gorman same weekend.. so not sure whats goin on

 

Yeah, I know. I'd like to do Johnson Valley too just because I want to try new places, but it really seems that there is more interest in Gorman. I'd honestly be fine with either. I just would like to get a good turn out for our last official run of the year.

 

Yea that's @B Wess08 and some other dude unaware of the talk that Sergio started on the LAX tread.

Gorman can be fun, but it kinda becomes a single file of trucks going slow on those narrow trails, when you have a bunch.

 

So here's what I'll do. Reading back a few pages, these are the names I've got so far that are in or at least interested. Copy and paste the post with your vote (1st choice and if you'd be ok with the other). Please don't say "either". I've already voiced interest in JV, but I'm down for Gorman. Yeah the meets I've been on have been kinda single file style. I'd like to try out Johnson valley for the openness, the only downside is that I don't have a radio and the last thing a chick needs is to be lost in the desert. hahaha
I guess I'll just keep watching and see what people wanna do.

Yeah. Not much of anything really, but there is a tiny contrete pad with like 4 stairs in a pyramid formation- probably 4'x4'. It's in @2015TRD4X4 , first post. Last time I went, I couldn't make it up there with my prerunner and I just kept digging myself deeper into the dirt. Haha!

 

Haha that's great. im hoping I can make it no matter where you guys go. I'm not gonna vote because I'm far from a sure thing. However, with my new springs, I could throw my tent back up on the shell and camp there.

 

Wether it's Gorman or Johnson Valley i will be in Flagstaff,AZ.so i'm out.You all have a blast whatever location is decided upon!
