I'm okay with them, but always knew I'd never want any of my own.

I exercise the control over where we go more often. I won't go to bars. Hate the atmosphere, feel like it's wrong to sit there in the heat or A/C and just drink water. I'll even offer to drop off and pick up. Nobody takes me up on that, thankfully.

Yep. A friend had one. He just swapped it out for a 2016 AC. It was reg cab, short bed, 4-banger base model.

I DO believe there was (at least) one....I've rode in it several times. He gets a new one every November. If he hadn't already got the 2016, I'd get a photo for you.

I've posted before...that I believe the access cab is the best looking (profile) Tacoma.
But those suicide doors are the suck.

    All the time!!!
They didn't build a regular cab in 2015, only access cab, and double cab. I checked early in the year last year, 2014 was the last year on regular cabs.

I'm not sure about the year, but it wasn't a short bed (by Tacoma standards anyway). All regular cabs have 6 ft beds.

Although I just sold an access cab cuz I need a double cab... If I didn't need the double I wouldn't!! A single or married person with no kids don't "need" a DC!! Plus the access cabs look tougher!! What did Marty McFly get?! Talk about ultimate up pimp!!!

Single dad here that needed a DC when my kid was too young to sit up front. Now she's old enough to be up front and still need the DC. Too convenient having the back seat for my bow, shotgun , or groceries. Access cabs just don't have the room I need for my lifestyle. Sorry but the look of the access cab says to me that someone skimped out on their purchase. Just my opinion though.

I went from DCSB to a Access Cab because it is easier for me to get in and out of, back surgery and bad knees,. I can open both doors and have alot more room to get in and out of, plus I don't have to walk around a door to get my crutches or cane, they are right behind the seat. I guess you can say that I traded trucks for health reasons.

Best explanation for getting an AC I have ever read.

Normally it's 'ITZ MY TRUCK LULZ!'.

    Touche, sir.

Funny you ask this. When I bought my access cab from the dealership, the salesman was trying to up sell me a double cab from the lot instead of ordering because of this very reason. I played nice, test drove an auto DCSB, told him to order the truck I wanted, and that was it. I'm not married, and have no kids at 30.
