Hey guys: I could use some help. I really need to sell my truck. So far, I've used Craigslist and Autotrader but havent had any serious buyers. Most people dont appreciate all of the brand new upgrades such as suspension lift, etc.

I know some of you guys are military. I feel like with all of the bases around here, that would be a good place to find a buyer that would appreciate this kind of truck. How could I get this advertisement out to military guys? Could I print fliers and put them somewhere on base or something like that? If someone could help find me a buyer I would be glad to pay a few hundred bucks.

    Here's the craigslist ad:

I just stumbled onto this thread. I live in Pensacola and have just purchased a new suspension lift. Where have you guys taken your trucks to get them installed? I am seriously debating installing it on my own as most of the quotes I have received are pretty high. The thing is, I am mentally challenged when it comes to anything automobile related. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

welcome! if you are willing to drive over here to Eglin, I can get you on base and we can use the hobby shop and I can help. you're looking at a maximum of $50~ depending how long it takes. Id offer to just do it at my house on base....but the base housing people dont like it haha...so....Ill have to sadly do anything over at the hobby shop....which ive been trying to avoid

That would be amazing. Have you installed these things before? I really would like to partake as it would be a great learning experience. You don't sound completely sold on using the hobby shop on base though? Am I understanding that correctly? I don't want to put you in a bad spot. But that fact that you are willing to help a total stranger is awesome.

For him it would be worth the 50$ to use it because otherwise it's take it to a mechanic and that will be a buttload. Let me know date/time and I would be down for coming up there to lend a hand or if nothing else to just learn.

You guys are all amazing! Man $50 compared to paying a shop or dealer is peanuts like Jystr stated. I can provide the pizza and beer and I get to learn something. Will the hobby shop have all the tools necessary to install it? Any chance we run into an issue where we need something and don't have it?
