thats the main reason I want it.
From what I understand its no where close to as in depth as Rosstech is which I love. But this still lets you do alot

@brandused I'm assuming somewhere in the settings you can probably tweek that.
For VW it was just change the speed limit cut off.

Toyotas are not as customizable. Their lighting system is not can-bus like euro cars. You can't remove or change speed limiters, you can't change fuel or spark mapping.

    Things you CAN do:
Customize settings like warning chimes and their volume
Keyless entry feedback (lights, beeper, or both)
A few climate control settings relating to blower motor and ac compressor
    BSM and parking sensor sensitivity
    Calibrate bsm and parking sensors
Perform active tests such as evap, sweep fuel trims to observe AFR and o2 sensor function
    Read codes and their definitions
Program vin number upon replacement of an ECU
Read freeze frame Data off dtc's
    Program keys and remotes
Program new immobilizer transponders and ecu's

There's more things it can do as well, like wipe out immobilizer ecu's in the event all keys are lost and you have to start from scratch, or perform engine ecu updates/recalibrations, but those require you to have a Toyota technician log in for TIS.

Can it change to compensate for gearing or wheel changes?

@Joe23 Did you ever get Tech Stream for your '16? If so, did it work? I just got a 2017 and the seatbelt chime is killing me with the dog in the car - and I rather not have to buckle the belt behind the dog for the next 10+ years. Tried 4 dealerships near me and no joy.

Really? I'll have to try that. It didn't look like Carista could do anything but read diagnostics on the 2017 Tacomas.

Wondering if we can watch the torque converter lock and unlock with this software .
I use a snap-on scanner at the shop with $10,000 bucks worth of updates to watch the converter lock and unlock in our Tacomas .
Now I am trying to assist a guy overseas , but I dont expect him to purchase $15k worth of hardware/software he will only use once .
What are the chances you guys know if you can watch the converter clutch get commanded on and off with the these cheap knock offs ?
Interested to know if you can watch flex lock up as well ?
