There's something about zipties on leaf springs... I'd rather listen to the squeak.

    But that's just me.

Mine squeak...I hit them with some WD-40 White Lithium spray. Not the "proper" fix...but it quiets them significantly. Maybe if I can build up enough grease they'll be quiet.

EPDM strips is one method , Crom's method is zip ties but suit yourself

I think I'll eventually go the EPDM route, just don't have time right now to do it right. I keep the WD-40 in the truck and hit the leafs (same spot that OZ identified) when they start to get loud.

Just imagine that squeaking is your leaf packs enjoying what you are doing to them.... Makes the squeaking into a positive thing.

Haha! Yep. Getting groceries and hauling a 2 year old to daycare. I think that's the sound of them weeping...

Cut the corner at the daycare and get some mud on those tires. One out of four still counts.

Just got her done. Dakars and 885s with 255/80/17 tires. Pretty much level with the camper shell.

    1. 2015-12-10 17.33.27.jpg Not the best photo but she's looking good. Was thinking about the 887 spring but happy I went with the 885.

Awesome! Nice scenery! Did you do the full dakar leaf pack or did you remove a leaf?

Full Dakar leaf pack. I think I'm sitting at 24 inches from center hub to fender well...all around.

do any of you guys have soft, random clunk noises coming from the front (not over the speed bump clunk or swaybar hitting the coils)? it happens at any given time, turning, braking, stopping, take off. i just re-torqued all suspension components the other day, but it still happens. it's bearable, just want to know what's causing it of if there are others that experience this..thanks!

Any of you guys go from the old Nitrochargers to the Sports? And did you find the Sports too rigid?
