    :deadhorse: so.... I'm about to pull the trigger on sliders so I can have them by gulches and possibly by citrus since s.o.s. is 7 weeks out on orders. Can someone sway me one way or the other on bolt on vs weld. Obviously weld is cheaper but has any gotten one and regretted not getting the other? I need to decide soon. And, can @allenfab or @Timbo89 help me out by welding them on for me if I go that route? I don't know if one of you welds better than the other on sliders. Input would be appreciated....

    I don't know from experience but I'd say a well known brand bolt on are good and will hold up. Plus it's not permanent. But I also would think bolt ons could always be welded on if desired.

    Weld on simply because it is stronger and with bolt ons they are a bitch to take off anyways if you want to touch them up with paint. Why not buy a set from @allenfab , he can install and paint for a price way better than what it would be to have SOS ship them and have someone install

    Weld ons aren't permanent either, nothing a torch won't fix :D

    Some bolt ons can easily be welded up

    I almost had allenfab make me a set but couldn't commit to welding on to my 16 frame lol. Spoke a lot with eddy from SOS and he sold me on his bolt on option. Probably not as strong as a welded version but just couldn't pull the trigger on the welded ones. This is a picture he sent me from a bolt on version.

    My bolt ons are coming off in a couple weeks and going to weld ons. Bolt ons are a nightmare from a corrosion prevention stand point.

    All slider are nice IMO but I do like the small kickout that sos has. Looks a little less gaudy to me. Idk I guess I'll have to see what @allenfab can design for me. I'd like to stay local
