I know this the wrong thread/section, but I'm curious to know if anyone in the area (SoCal, preferably Greater LA) has a 2nd gen rear bumper for sale? I have a 2014 DCSB Sport and recently damaged mine. Anyone?

    Thanks All.

@GHOST SHIP Hey Sergio, I was wondering if you remember that site you referred me to for a almost stock fog light switch? That way I shouldnt have to shave the switch housing.

This is rad! I'm moving from Nashville to LA after Christmas - would love to be a part of this group/community.

Also, I had a question related to LA. Should I be worried about getting things like LED or fog lights, or jerry can, hi-lift jack, spare tire stolen off my truck? Has any of you had anything stolen? It's not something I really even have to worry about here, but I don't really know much about LA. I figured nobody would mess with it during the day, and as long as I stayed living in a safe neighborhood, it would be fine. Can any LA residents comment? Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard man! TBH, LA is a huge place and there are different neighborhoods- some are really nice, some not so nice so it all depends on where you end up actually living/working/parking your truck. Some places I go are beautiful and people would never do anything to your truck, but I've also seen random shit get taken off parked cars (license plates, roof strips, antennas, valve stem caps). Hell, I once saw a crackhead take a side mirror off an Escalade while the guy was at a red light! That was messed up right there. He got chased, but not sure if he got caught. I personally haven't had any problems, but I do check all my lights religiously. Everything on my truck with exposed fasteners gets security fasteners (nuts and bolts), so you need two specialized tools to remove them. Kind of a pain in the ass if I ever need to remove them, but the added piece of mind helps. This will defeat the average tweaker with a leatherman, but as the old saying goes: if someone wants it bad enough, they're going to take it. The most you can do is make it as difficult as possible so that they consider moving on to the next guy. Good luck!

Welcome to LA. What part are you moving to?

I live right in LA, near Beverly Hills (tho not BH). I'd say it's better to be safe than have something stolen. I just did lights and used quick disconnects so I can take them off when I'm not off-roading, which is most of the time. Tho I feel like you'd have more chance of getting truck stuff stolen if you lived somewhere like the Inland Empire or OC, where more dudes off-road. You will see alot of jeeps and fj cruisers missing the stock spare from back. I think because thieves can sell stock spare wheels easier, than if you have after market wheels. Who want's to buy just one random after market wheel?

Thanks for the replies, guys. @MostEpic, I will be moving in with a friend in Lakewood temporarily (1-4 months?) until I get on my feet and find my own place to get settled into. I work as a freelancer in film and television, so where I'll be working/parking will change often or for each job. Though my spare isn't stock, it's on a 15" rim, and I am scared of scrappers taking that or the hi-lift jack or jerry can.

@GHOST SHIP, what kind of security fasteners are you talking about?

Its like El Mirage but with more rock formations.

Just lock everything and keep it below the bed sides. We live in Glendale and work in South Pas so we don't worry much, but I've seen people around here who don't live here, if you know what I mean

Johnson Valley is HUGE compared to El Mirage.

Too soon, bro, too soon. Folks are deciding if they want to do Gorman in a week or head toward big bear for what sounds like a much better spot. I'm a 661 dude so just :spy:

Copy and paste the post with your vote (1st choice and if you'd be ok with the other). Please don't say "either". I've already voiced interest in JV, but I'm down for Gorman.
