/\ i did mine that way. No problem. It actually confuses the shit out of me when people say it's stupid and dangerous. Looking at it I didn't jack it the whole way up then put the nut on. As soon as the bolt had some threads through I put the nut on. I can't imagine if anything would go wrong it would push the lca DOWN the sprin may bounce alittle but not come flying off and kill someone. But that is just my opinion and it may be wrong. I got called a dumbass for doing it that way. I was told to use ratchet straps to compress the spring.:crazy:

Is there a precise formula for acetone+ATF? Or is it good enough to just mix some together about 50/50.

I used an open ended wrench, a hand sledge, and the F-word. Rinse and repeat.

The F-word and its variants, like vinyl, add powah.

Thanks Deevon. Yeah I am sure it will be fun to drive in the snow. We do not have any yet, hard to believe that this late in December and no snow yet. Also I have been trying to find what people prefer or like better, Manual or Auto trans? I have done a search but not finding what I want. I think I am going to definitely go with a V6 and not 4 cylinder. Just have to find one I like and can afford.

You'll get mixed emotions on auto vs manual. Me personally, living in Pittsburgh, I like having an auto. Specially since it's my daily driver. The hills around here are not so fun with a manual. Plus I have kids, so having a free hand is necessary rather than shifting. And depending on what you plan on hauling, I'd recommend the V6. Even with the V6, if I have the truck loaded up and full of passengers, I still have to give it a little going up a good hill. All depends on what you need to do.

And I like the cold and snow. So this damn El Niño is pissing me off. LOL. It's been too warm. When I have bugs flying around my Christmas lights, something is wrong!

If that's it, then I'm fucking pissed off at my sister for using so much damn Aqua Net in the 80's!
