I absolutely appreciate what you do. I work side-by-side with fireman every day at work. However my ball hair has never been singed and I plan to keep it that way. When the fire is no longer inside it's rock ringed pit, my ass is moving the other direction as fast as possible.

In other words, i am not crazy enough to sign up for that shit, but thankfully you are.

talked about it lol. thankfully the neighborhood i live in has not had any issues, no big puddles :( but everywhere around me, going to work, my brother had to stay with my parents because he couldnt get back home to longview. the craziest thing is seeing all the DB's in beemers attempting water crossings, i mean at least snorkel mod first bro's....

In AZ, people crossing running water during monsoon storms got so bad we had to pass a "Stupid Motorist Law". If you drive around a barricade and get stuck in the water, you have to pay for EMS to rescue you. People started getting $3-5k bills in the mail.

When I was in high school, most of my friends lived in Moon Valley. It flooded with just a small sprinkle let alone a good monsoon storm. I had an 80 Toyota pickup with a large topper. I use to drive through the washes and back up to my friends' windows, so they could climb out and get in my truck. I loved seeing my muddy tire marks on their expensive lawns when it all dried out. The landscapers hated me, but I kept them busy fixing the lawns.

I have several medics and Es that I work with always applying to Payson or Hell's Gate Fire. I think they are all crazy, those depts only run 2 or sometimes 3 guys on a truck.

that's how we were most of the year last year in kingman... understaffed. it sucks and can be kinda dangerous but like everything it's all about money and you gotta work with what you got.
