Metal metal metal. If you can run flat stock to an existing screw or another screw, that force will distribute across the surface and not break anything.

Has anyone gotten their 7.0 mini h1s? Saw output shots and I will say, it's pretty damn awesome for such a out of the box ready to retrofit projector. TRS is doing good stuff

Hey guys I need a little help, I was looking at my truck today and my passenger light is flashing. Nothing was on and no key. I turned the lights on and the headlights came on and quit flashing, but as soon as I turned them off the passenger side light started flashing again. Anybody know what it could be?

Yes. Vehicle was off, and the light switch was completely off. No key anywhere near the truck.

Could it possibly be just the control box since its just the passenger headlight flashing?

Has to be the MotoControl box / relays. Please give us a call or use live chat for us to provide replacement(s) under warranty!

Has anyone done a retrofit with the Apollo 1.0 shrouds and vent mounted halos? Looking at how mine are, the halos don't look like the light would shine through the halos at all. Maybe so but if anyone has pictures that would help me out lots. Thanks!

This is how I did it. Probably the easiest. Our dtrl has three wires. One is negative, one is dtrl, and other is turn signal. Both the turn signal and dtrl function has constant power. That wouldn't work with switchback funtion. So I tapped the switchback wire would to rear turn signals. Just run a wire on each side from the rear forward. I'm sure you can tap into the harness somewhere up front, I didn't bother.
1st person I thought of no doubt. Mr Defcon

PM'd Andrew this morning but maybe one of you guys can answer quicker for me. Long story short I've had my retrofit for years now and just recently my driver side light took a dump so I am ordering a new set of lights and ballast. But on the website for TRS I am not seeing a mini H1 setup (which I have) only H1 is this the same thing? https://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems/morimoto-elite-hid-system-h1.html#.VnK9-9IrJhE I just need a confirmation so I can go ahead and order and get this fixed, even though I have LED foglights and a bar it still doesn't beat having my headlights.

Mini h1 refers to the projector. H1 refers to bulb. But that link is what you need for a harness and ballast and whatever else you need in the options

Thanks man! Yeah after reading some older posts I think had a feeling that mini was referring to projector like you said. I also saw that I would need to choose the motocontrol bixenon 9003/H4 harness does that sound about right? Sorry been awhile since I installed mine I wish I could find my old receipt when I ordered this years ago.

Right now I'm running a cheap eBay setup that I built and I'm ready for some good light out out so I can actually see at night. Which setup are you running?

H1 minis. Cheapest option and easiest to install. May not have the best output compared to the better kits. But loads better than eBay lights. And good bang for your buck
