    Another thing that I wanted to bring up to see if it would work, my truck has the thermometer and compass in it. Could we use the existing wires going to the thermometer and compass and turn it into a switched power source for all the lights of the switches? That would potentially save us on running a couple of wires. Would that work?

    Not really worth it for the time and tracking wire. The lume is not that bad at all and would be so much nicer.
